TV's famous actress Urvashi Dholakia is celebrating her birthday today i.e. on July 9.  Urvashi has been entertaining the audience for the past 28 years.  Urvashi is not only a great actress but also an unmatched dancer. Urvashi had received 5 awards for her role of Komolika played in the serial 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay.' Very few people know that Urvashi Dholakia made her debut on camera at the age of 6. She had done an ad for lux soap with popular South Indian actress Revathy. Urvashi started acting as a child actor in 1988 with the serial Kab Tak Chup Rahungi.  At the age of just 11, she joined Nadia Babbar's United Theatre Group.

At the age of 14, Urvashi was offered a fun role in the popular serial 'Dekh Bhai Dekh.' Urvashi was just reaching the height of her career when she fell in love by then and also married at the age of 16. Unfortunately, Urvashi's marriage did not last long and she separated from her husband at the age of 18. She was pregnant at the time. When she was 19 years old, she gave birth to twin sons Kshitij and Sagar. By becoming a single mom, Urvashi has brought up her sons alone.
