Urvashi Rautela, who walked the red carpet many times at the Cannes Film Festival 2023, has drawn notice for her stylish choices during the famous festival. Urvashi Rautela wore a larger-than-life pink gown with a beautiful Cartier necklace designed in the style of interconnecting crocodiles in her first look at Cannes 2023. She has now reacted to people who have made 'bizarre comments' about her jewellery.

Some people on social media criticised Urvashi's jewelry choice. On Instagram, several users joked that the actress was wearing lizards around her neck. According to certain reports, the designer jewelry is valued a whooping 200 crore. The necklace is made of gold and set with diamonds and emeralds.

In an interview Urvashi said, “People, who don't have the right information, those are the people who are writing bizarre comments about it (her necklace). But people, who know about the history of that jewellery, it is such an iconic piece, they will absolutely fall in love with the crocodile neckpiece. Actually, it is a very iconic piece... You actually have to read about it, it is very historic. In fact, I wasn't aware of this, but I got to know that it was worn by Monica Bellucci back in 2006 at Cannes. I had absolutely no idea about it.”

Aside from Urvashi, Italian actress Monica Bellucci had also wore Cartier crocodile necklaces, which she wore twice at Cannes. While she wore the original 1975 item to Cannes in 2006, she was spotted wearing a different version of the necklace in 2019.

Urvashi was most recently seen in Agent, co-starring with Akhil Akkineni. She will soon be featured in a Hollywood film alongside star Michele Morrone. One of her upcoming films is Inspector Avinash, starring Randeep Hooda.
