US accuses China of hiding Scientist wanted by FBI in San Francisco

A new controversy has emerged regarding America. In which the US said that detectives and fugitives are being given shelter in Chinese consulates. US investigation agency FBI says China's consulate in San Francisco has sheltered a Chinese explorer named Song Chen, who has been charged in a California court for concealing his military background. Prosecutors allege that China is sending Army undercover researcher to the US as part of a planned program.

The US believes that a Chinese scientist who is suspected in the visa fraud case and who is hiding ties to the military has escaped to the Chinese consulate in San Francisco, on Wednesday, the Trump administration directed the closure of the Chinese consulate in Houston. The US administration accused it of stealing intellectual property.

China has criticized America's move against its explorer and consulate. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin has accused the Trump administration of attacking Chinese explorers and researchers and making excuses for their persecution. President Trump has also threatened to close two other Chinese missions after the closure of China's consulate in Houston. The FBI has stated in a Central Court of San Francisco that the accused, Juan Tang, was a biology researcher at the University of California. According to the paper produced in the court, he said in an interview with FBI agents last month.
