A US lawmaker praised the efforts India and the US made together against terrorism. He appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and thanked him for making the country its friend. In the US House of Representatives on Tuesday night, Republican John Carter not only advocated strong diplomatic relations between the US and India, but also said that the relationship between the two countries shares important values inherent in democracy.

Carter, a Republican from Texas, from the Republican Party said, "India and America are combating all forms of terrorism jointly." I commend the efforts made by India and the United States in the elimination of terrorism.
