Top seed Novak Djokovic won in straight sets, while in the women's section, Naomi Osaka overcame the young player's challenge to enter the fourth round of the US Open Tennis Grand Slam. Djokovic defeated Germany's 28th seed Jan-Lenard Struff by six-three, six-three, six-one in a match lasting 1 hour 43 minutes.
