This time the US Open is going to get a new winner, as both finalists of this final Grand Slam of the year have been scheduled. While Germany's Alexandre Zverev has reached the final of a Grand Slam for the first time, the champion Dominic Thiem of the second semi-final also made it to us Open for the first time.

The ceremony of the US Open was also seen to be in peril after Wimbledon was postponed during the horrific time of the same COVID-19 epidemic. Even after the withdrawal of many big names, there was no dearth of thrills in the tournament. Six years later, it will be the first time that the US Open will receive its new winner. Defeating Pablo Carreno Busta 3-6, 2-6, 6-3, 6-4, 6-3, Germany's Alexander Zverev has reached the final of a Grand Slam for the first time in his career, before he reached the highest ranking third of his career in 2017.

The start of the Zverev was not good. He trailed Busta 3-6, 2-6 in the first two sets, but made a great comeback in the third set 6-3. This will be the first time since 1994 that a German player will play the prestigious Grand Slam US Open award before Michael Stich did it wonders. Then he won the award by defeating Andre Agassi of America 6–1, 7–6, 7–5, this was the first time that an unseeded player became the winner of the Open Air. This will be the second Grand Slam final of 2020, before he suffered a defeat at the Australia Open from Novak Djokovic, the Dominic Thiem that defeated Russia's Daniel Medvedev in the second semi-final. At the same time, some players have made their place in the final.
