New Delhi: Australia's team that toured England has suffered a 2–1 defeat in the T20 series. Now on Friday i.e. from today, the three-match ODI series between the two teams is going to start. The 40-year-old history in this series played between the two countries is about to change. This change has been made due to the outbreak of the Corona epidemic.

The teams of England and Australia are going to be face to face in the one day series after the T20. All three matches of the series are to be played in Manchester. The first match will be played on 11 September i.e. today, while the second match will be played on 13 September. The third and final match of the series will be held on 16 September. According to the Indian time all these matches will start at 12 noon.

In the bilateral series between England and Australia, for the first time all the matches will be played on the same ground. This had never happened till today. This is the first time in the history of 40 years that both the teams of all matches of a series will play in one place. This happened between the two countries in 1979–80, when the England team on a tour of Australia played all the matches of the series in Melbourne.
