25-year-old tennis player Jennifer Brady gave a spectacular performance and has ensured her place in the semi-finals of the US Open. The player defeated Kazakhstan's Yulia Putintseva 6-3, 6-2 in direct sets in the quarterfinals. Brady debuted at the US Open in 2014. She will now play her first Grand Slam semifinal. Brady hasn't lost a single set at this year's US Open.

Earlier in the other competition, Indian tennis player Rohan Bopanna and his Canadian partner Denis Shapovalov were defeated in the men's doubles quarterfinals and the Indian challenge in the US Open tennis tournament also ended. Bopanna and Shapovalov suffered a 5-7, 5-7 defeat from the Netherlands' Jean-Julien Roger and Romania's Horia Tecau.

The match also lasted for one hour 26 minutes. Bopanna and Shapovalov lost once in every set. They had a chance to breakpoint once in a second set, but they could not benefit. This is Bopanna's impressive performance in the Grandslam tournament after reaching the quarterfinals of the French Open and US Open in 2018. Divij Sharan (doubles) and Sumit Nagal (singles) were defeated in the past and crashed out of the tournament. Jennifer is leading and practising to ensure victory in the US Open.
