US Open:In the second round of mixed doubles Sania Mirza and her partner Ivan Dodig have lost the battle next to Barbora Krejcikova of Czech Republic and Marin Draganja of Croatia in straight sets 3-6 4-6.
The match lasted just for 65 minutes as the Indo-Croat pair was outplayed in both the sets.
While, in men’s singles, young Frenchman Lucas Pouille scored a dramatic five-set upset over 14-times grand slam singles winner Rafa Nadal, appealing a climactic tiebreaker 8-6 to reach the quarter-finals.
