New Delhi: Pakistan has again been brought under the purview of the US State Department's Annual Terrorism Report. At the same time, India has been described as America's partner in the fight against terror. The US State Department's Annual Terrorism Report clearly states that Pakistan has made big promises. But nothing concrete was done to curb terrorist organizations.
The report states that Pakistan remains a safe haven for terrorist organizations such as the Taliban and the Haqqani network. Terrorist organizations carry out crimes from Pakistan's land. The report said that Pakistan remains a constant threat to the US and Afghanistan's army engaged in peace initiatives in Afghanistan.
While reprimanding Pakistan, the report said that terrorist organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed are flourishing in Pakistan. The leaders of these organizations are openly carrying out terrorist incidents from the soil of Pakistan. Apart from this, it has been alleged in the report that these terrorist organizations not only raise funds on the soil of Pakistan. Terrorist organizations also fight elections by forming political parties.
