USA: Because the picture clarity was lost, users were previously hesitant to share high-quality images via WhatsApp. So that's it. The instant messaging service has launched a feature that streamlines the sharing of HD photos by maintaining their dimensions. The most recent beta releases of the app for Android and iOS include the new feature.
WhatsApp is constantly working to enhance user experience by adding new features. This is the only way it can continue to compete with messaging services like Telegram, Signal, iMessage, and others.
Users previously had to use alternative channels, like email or Bluetooth, to send HD images to others. By integrating the procedure within the app, WhatsApp is now allaying their concerns.

An option labelled "Photo Quality" appears on the screen when you choose a large-size image to share.
Standard quality (1600x1052) and HD quality (4096x2692) are the two options available. You can pick the one you prefer.
Keep in mind that "Standard quality" is always selected by default for all pictures, and you must manually choose "HD" each time you want to send a high-quality picture.

When you choose the "HD quality" sharing option, the recipient can see an HD tag on the shared image. Additionally, this feature is only available for photos shared during conversations.
Additionally, users should be aware that the images are not transmitted in their original quality. The updated WhatsApp feature keeps image dimensions while still using light compression.
Some users who have the WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.11.0.76 firmware and WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.12.13 update installed from the Google Play Store or TestFlight app, respectively, can use the feature. In the upcoming weeks, a wider rollout is anticipated.

Additionally under development for WhatsApp Business are channels, a "one-to-many" tool for disseminating information to followers, and a "Status Archive" feature.
