Usha Nadkarni, who won millions of hearts with her powerful acting in Marathi world, is celebrating her birthday today. Usha Nadkarni was born on 13th September 1946 in Mumbai. She is an Indian Marathi film-TV exhibit who won millions of hearts from her work. However, she has worked not only in Marathi but also in Indian TV shows. Usha came to the discussions when she worked in Ekta Kapoor's famous television show 'Pavitra Rishta'. She played the role of Savita Deshmukh in the show and is still known because of this character.

Now talking about Usha's career, she started her career with the Marathi film 'Sinhasan' in the year 1979. If we talk about Hindi films, her first film was Gundaraj. Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Amrish were all seen in the main role in the film. Usha played the role of Parvati Chouhan in this film. Her character had received a mixed response from critics.

The film came in the year 1990. After the film, she became famous and won hearts. Meeker Shirdotax and Sanjay Dutt were in the lead roles. Usha Nadkarni, however, worked in several films and TV shows in her acting career for which she was also honoured with a number of awards.
