Lucknow: A case of shame to humanity has come to light in Uttar Pradesh's Badaun. A 5-year-old innocent girl was raped by a 12-year-old minor after being taken to a sugarcane field in the Zarifnagar police station area of Badaun. When the condition of the child worsened at night, the family members asked the child, then innocent cried and informed the family about the whole incident. 

The family then lodged a complaint with the police. The accused has been sent to juvenile home Bareilly. Superintendent of Police Rural Siddharth Verma said that the case pertains to a village under the Zarifnagar police station area. A 5-year-old girl of a man living here was playing outside the house on Sunday. Meanwhile, a 12-year-old minor resident of the village took innocent to the field on the pretext of feeding her sugarcane. The accused minor raped the innocent.

SP Rural Siddharth Verma informed that the accused was produced before the court from where he has been sent to juvenile home Bareilly. He said that the DNA sample of the accused will also be preserved.
