Amroha: Farmers' agitation continues against the new agricultural laws brought by the central government. In order to speed up the movement, panchayats are also being organized by farmers' unions at various places. The farmers are still frozen under the leadership of Rakesh Tikait, spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKIU) on the Ghazipur border. On the other hand, the effect of the movement is now visible in the villages as well.

In many places in Uttar Pradesh, farmers have already announced to stop the supply of milk and increase the price, in the same order, the supply of milk has been stopped in 3 villages. Showing solidarity with the farmer movement, farmers belonging to the dairy industry in three villages of Amroha district have stopped supplying milk to cooperatives. Dairy farmers have also announced that from March 6, they will sell milk at the rate of Rs 100 per liter. Presently, milk is being supplied at the rate of Rs. 35 per liter.

According to reports, on Monday, three farmers in Amroha district - Rasulpur Mafi, Chuchaila Khurd, and Shahzadpur dairy farmers refused to supply milk to cooperatives, leaving the tankers of the committees empty.
