Lucknow: A young man killed his own friend in Banda, UP, for paying momos' money. The case pertains to the Matondh police station area where he had committed the murder for Rs 500. According to the report, a friend of the child had to pay the loan of Rs 350 from the momos shopkeeper which he could not pay. The youth saw a Rs 500 note in his friend's pocket, to take which he strangulated him to kill him and threw the body near the drain and fled from the spot.

After the case came to light, the police, who are in the process of taking action, have taken the accused of the murder into custody. After the arrest of the accused, people lost their senses knowing what the police revealed. Where everyone has been surprised after the case was revealed. The case belongs to the town of Matondh police station. In fact, a 13-year-old boy came late in the evening to pick up the luggage from home but did not return home.

The family searched for a long time, but the child was nowhere to be found, after which his family lodged a missing report at the police station. In the morning, villagers saw the body in a culvert of a drain near a school not far from the town, which was that of a missing boy. The police took the body into custody and sent it for post-mortem and took further action. After the body was found, the SOG and several teams of the police station were jointly investigating, after which during the interrogation of the neighbours, the police received information that the deceased was with the same youth till late in the evening, on strict interrogation, he confessed to his crime. SOG in-charge Mayank Chandel said the arrested accused is addicted to drugs.
