Everyday, there are reports of crimes happening with women from different corners of the country. One such case has come up from Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh. According to media reports, the villagers also protested outside the Superintendent of Police office against the woman on Saturday. After this, the protesters also met the Circle Officer. The villagers have alleged that the gang rape case filed by the woman is false. The 39 people against whom a case has been filed have to take Rs. 2.50 lakhs of borrowings from the woman's husband. The woman, who had earlier complained of rape, has sent a letter to Bareilly's Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shailesh Pandey, saying that villagers are pressurizing her to leave the village as she has lodged a rape complaint against the accused. Police is currently investigating the entire case.
