Badaun: Crime in Uttar Pradesh is not going to stop, the latest case has come to light from Badaun district of the state, a man has been shot dead in the district. Another person was also injured in the firing. Police have arrested two accused in the case.
The murder took place in a village under Bilsi police station area. According to police sources, the incident took place when Shakir (30), a resident of Village Nanakheda, had gone to the village of Khulat in Bilsi police station area. He was surrounded by the accused party late on Tuesday night and fired indiscriminately. Shakir died on the spot after being shot. People from the other side also came with weapons on the information of firing and several rounds of firing took place from both sides in which one person was injured.
Senior Superintendent of Police Sankalp Sharma said that a man was shot dead in a mutual dispute in Khullat village of Bilsi police station area. A case of murder has been registered and two accused have been arrested so far. He said the rest of the accused will also be arrested. The postmortem of the body is being conducted.
