In Jammu and Kashmir, the more people are getting infected with covid, the more they are recovering by beating it. So far 211742 people have been infected out of which 162535 have won the battle with corona. That is, 76.76 infected people have overtaken Covid. The mortality rate here is also 1.26 per cent. So far, 2672 people have died due to covid. For the last two days, the number of patients recovering has been 79 to 81 per cent.

The infection is growing very fast in the month of May. The number of patients infected daily is fluctuating. More than 3000 patients are coming every day. The highest number of infected this month is 5443. But the number of patients recovering is also not low. The health structure is being enhanced by the State Government.

In order to increase the number of beds in the hospital, smooth supply of oxygen is also being ensured. Oxygen generation plants have been started in almost all government hospitals. Construction of 500-500 bedded hospitals at Jammu and Srinagar in DRDO is also progressing at a rapid pace. With the commissioning of these hospitals, the shortage of beds will be met to a great extent.
