New Delhi: The Congress is attacking the Central government over the ever rising prices of petrol and diesel in the country and is constantly asking the government a serious question on the serious issue. The price of petrol has crossed Rs 100 per litre in different parts of the country. The Congress has slammed the government saying that development has come back after the elections.

Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala tweeted on Wednesday, "Development had to be suspended for some time due to assembly elections. Families of 'reformists' and 'positivists' will be happy that development is now firmly back on track. Petrol has now crossed Rs 100 in Bhopal. Fuel prices have gone up for the third consecutive day on Wednesday as state-owned fuel retailers have hiked the rates of petrol and diesel by 25 paise per litre in the country's capital".

 

 

Petrol price in Delhi is now Rs 92.05 per litre and diesel at Rs 82.36 per litre yesterday. According to the price notification of oil marketing companies, petrol in Mumbai has now gone up to Rs 98.36 a litre and diesel to Rs 89.75. The price of petrol has gone up to Rs.100 per litre in some States including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and at some places in Maharashtra.
