Lucknow: A young woman was shot dead in the Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh. After the murder, the lover reached the SSP office and handed himself over to the police. Police immediately arrested the accused and also recovered the gun used in the murder. Police seized the body and started investigating the case. The accused told police that his girlfriend sold his farm and made ornaments and took some money from him but then refused to marry.
At the same time, the accused also said that the girlfriend used to insult him by swearing with repeated threats to see him. The case pertains to Dagroli village under Fatehganj East of Bareilly. After the murder, the accused reached the SSP office and placed the empty gun in front of the police and said, "I am Rajneesh Sagar, I have killed my girlfriend."
On hearing this, the police station was agitated. The accused told police that he did not have parents and his girlfriend had cheated on him. She sold a bigha land and auto and made jewellery for herself, as well as took Rs 35,000 from him and later refused to marry. So he killed his girlfriend.
