Mumbai: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed strong confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, stating that the public's anticipation is clear: "Modi will be back."

Speaking at a public rally in Maharashtra's Wardha, CM Yogi emphasized the significant role Uttar Pradesh plays in the elections, boasting of its 80 Lok Sabha seats, the highest in the country. He asserted that the people of Uttar Pradesh are firmly behind the BJP.

"The first phase of voting in the 2024 elections is scheduled for April 19. Uttar Pradesh will witness voting across seven phases for its 80 Lok Sabha seats. There is widespread confidence in the BJP's support in the state, and a similar sentiment prevails in Rajasthan," he remarked.

Yogi Adityanath highlighted that this election stands out as one where the outcome seems predetermined: "Only Modi will come."

Reflecting on Prime Minister Modi's leadership over the past decade, CM Yogi credited him with elevating India's identity, stature, and security on the global stage.

"Considering all these achievements, I can confidently say that 'Modi will return'," he affirmed.

Yogi Adityanath also underscored the enhanced global recognition of the Indian passport and the bolstered security along the borders under PM Modi's tenure. He credited Modi for addressing longstanding issues, including the abrogation of Article 370 in Kashmir, and initiating transformative schemes benefiting millions of Indians, such as the Garib Kalyan Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, and Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.

Furthermore, CM Yogi paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi, who made Wardha a pivotal center of his freedom movement. He praised the people of Maharashtra for their contribution to India's independence and highlighted developments in Uttar Pradesh, including the reinvigoration of Holi celebrations in Mathura and Vrindavan and the groundbreaking ceremony for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, symbolizing the dawn of a new India.
