Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on Friday said that tourism should not be limited to spiritual tourism only, but it should be extended to heritage, wildlife and by planning it, it can create employment opportunities. Huh. CM Yogi gave his views in a function centered on pilgrimage, tourism and regional development in a program in the auditorium of Indira Gandhi Foundation here.
CM Yogi said that there are immense possibilities of tourism in Uttar Pradesh. We can play a big role in terms of economic independence by taking the tourism sector beyond the pilgrimage centers. But it is not right to limit it to pilgrimage. It should also be linked to employment. CM Yogi said, it is true that the nature of tourism has been in the form of pilgrimage, but the pilgrim too needs some facility. It can be a good initiative if it has payment capabilities.
UP CM Yogi Adityanath said that when we were making plans for the development of Kashi Vishwanath and its surrounding area, a suggestion had come to have a guide. In the first phase, 30 guides were placed and they are earning from 30 thousand rupees to one lakh rupees every month without being a burden on the government.
