Lucknow: A man returning from a gym in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad was shot dead in public by miscreants. Those present at the spot have rushed the injured youth to Delhi's GTB Hospital, where he is undergoing treatment. After committing the crime, the accused managed to escape from the spot. Police have started investigating the case.
In fact, on Monday morning, a man named Amit alias Sonu Sharma, 40 was shot dead by a car-borne assailant in Sangam Vihar Colony of the city and fled from the spot. Sonu Sharma was shot by miscreants when he was returning home from the gym. In the firing by the miscreants, Amit Sharma was shot in the chest and crossed from the waist side while making a hole, during which the people gathered at the spot rushed the injured to GTB Hospital in Delhi. His condition is said to be stable at the moment. After receiving the information, the police started searching for the attackers with the help of CCTV cameras and surveillance. The police are also investigating from the angle of old enmity. It is being told that the injured Amit Sharma works to give money on property and interest.
Ghaziabad SSP Muniraj said that the police received information that a man was shot at in the Loni Border police station area this morning. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. A team headed by the superintendent of police (crime) has been formed to investigate the incident.
