Lucknow: A lawyer has received death threats for supporting suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma and protesting against the brutal killing of Kanhaiya Lal in Ghaziabad, adjoining the country's capital Delhi. Not only this, posters of 'Sir Tan Se Judaa' have also been put up outside the lawyer's house. The lawyer has complained to the police. Police have registered a case and started an investigation.  

The case pertains to the Thana Tronica City area of Ghaziabad. Outside the house of lawyer Satendra Bhati, who lives in Awas Vikas Colony here, some fundamentalists put up threatening posters. The poster read, "Sir tan se judaa". Not only this, a letter full of abuses have also been pasted with these posters. In this letter, the lawyer has been threatened with dire consequences for supporting Nupur Sharma and Kanhaiya Lal. Actually, Satyendra Bhati had taken out a candle march in protest against the Kanhaiya Lal murder case just a few days ago.

It is being told that since then Satendra Bhati has come under the target of radical elements and has been threatened with beheading. Satendra Bhati has lodged a complaint in this regard at Tonika City police station. Police have registered a case and started an investigation. The lawyer has also been given security. Earlier, a similar threatening letter was sent to a businessman in Loni through a speed post, after which the police swung into action and arrested the accused.
