It is noteworthy that in Uttar Pradesh, the electricity department prepares the electricity bill based on the material reading and the agents go home to take the reading. However, due to the lockdown imposed to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in the present time, it has become difficult for anyone to get out of the house.

With this, those agents must have been at risk of getting infected by the corona when going home for meter reading. This is the reason that the electricity department has decided that the electricity bill for April will be taken on the basis of the average of three months.
