Lucknow: A case of murder of a married woman at a hotel in the Khoda area of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh has come to light. The deceased's husband is reportedly being charged with murder. Police who reached the spot after receiving information about the incident seized the body and rushed it for postmortem.

According to reports, Arjun, a petrol pump employee living in the Bahadurgarh police station area of Hapur district, had rented a room at Darshan Hotel near Media House in Khoda two days ago. Arjun had been having a fight with his wife for 1 year. He had called his wife to the hotel room to talk on Monday morning. There was another quarrel between the two of them over something. In the meantime, Arjun stabbed his wife to death at around 10 am. The accused fled the spot after the incident. The incident was reported to the police by the Hotel staff.

Police who reached the spot have sent the body for postmortem. Police and forensic teams are collecting evidence from the room as well as scanning footage of CCTV cameras installed in the hotel. Police teams are conducting raids to nab the accused.
