Lucknow: In Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, Mahant Martand Pashupati has received a threat of 'Sar Tan Se Juda'. This threat of Mahant has been given through a letter, which has been sent from West Bengal. Describing Islam as the highest in the letter, it has been said that you talk a lot about Hindutva, and that's why you will be killed. Mahant has informed the police in this regard. It is being told that this is the fifth threat Mahant has received in two months. The threatening letter was received on Tuesday (20 December 2022).

According to media reports, Martand Pashupati is the Mahant of Pashupati Akhara, Nepal. Right now Mahant is living in the Shyam Park area of ​​the Sahibabad police station area. On Tuesday, he received a threatening letter from Siliguri, West Bengal. This letter was sent by speed post, on which the name of one Manzoor Ahmed was written as the sender. The title of this letter was 'Maut Ka Farman'. According to the report, it has been said in the letter, 'You talk a lot about Hindutva. Islam is the highest and will remain the highest inshallah. You will have to be erased, your head will have to be separated.'

When Mahant opened this letter, he was threatened with murder. In the letter, it has been said to behead the Mahant for talking about Hindutva while describing Islam as the highest. It has been said in the letter that Mahant will be razed to the ground by the servant of Allah, as his house has been located. Along with this, referring to PM Modi and CM Yogi, it was written that, 'Allah's angels are keeping an eye on you'. You are going to die soon. No government will be able to save you. Neither Modi nor Yogi.

Mahant Martand has given the complaint of this threat to the Sahibabad police. At the same time, he demanded the arrest of the person sending the threat. Even before this, Mahant Martand was threatened with beheading on August 17, 2022, by the letter. An FIR was also registered on this threat on August 20. Describing his life in danger, Mahant has accused the police of neither arresting nor providing security to those threatening him. According to ACP Poonam Mishra, information is being collected about the person sending the threat. It is being told that a team of UP Police is being sent to West Bengal.
