Lucknow: The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has made preparations to give a big gift to the farmers. In fact, the Yogi government has announced to install 2100 new state tube wells in 62 districts. According to the state government, this scheme will be completed by the year 2023-24. The government has told that with this all the farmers will get the facility of water for irrigation. One tube well will irrigate 50 hectares of agricultural land.

The government has told that it will cost 841 crore 98 lakh and 83 thousand rupees to complete the scheme. One tube well will irrigate 50 hectares of fields and after this complete scheme, it will increase the irrigation capacity of 1.05 lakh hectares. Let us tell you that this time the monsoon has been very weak in UP. In this situation, farmers are very worried about their Kharif crops. Along with this, farmers are also asking to declare 2022 as a dry year. In such a situation, the scheme of installation of tube wells by the Yogi government can prove to be very beneficial against such situations in the coming times.

Two lakh such mini kits will be distributed among the farmers. 4 crores 57 lakh 60 thousand rupees may be spent in this entire scheme. The cost of this will be borne by the UP government. Priority will be given to small and marginal farmers in free distribution. Along with this, the UP government has also given instructions to ensure the participation of women up to 30 per cent in selected farmers. Let us inform you that in the districts, 25 per cent of these seeds will be distributed among Scheduled Caste (SC) and Tribe (ST) farmers and after that, the seed will be distributed among other farmers.
