Lucknow: In the Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh, love birds committed suicide by hanging themselves from a tree. Both were residents of different villages and their fraternity was also different. They wanted to marry each other, but the families of the two were not convinced. So the two committed suicide by hanging themselves from the same snare in the tree. Police, who arrived after receiving the information, seized the bodies of the duo and sent them for postmortem and are investigating the entire case.
The case has come to light from Saidpur village in the Thana Sandi area of the district where the love birds committed suicide by hanging themselves from a single snare in a tree outside the village. In fact, 19-year-old Sunil Yadav, a resident of Nawabganj locality in Sandi Town, was an Inter student, while 18-year-old Shilpi Kushwaha was a resident of Saidpur village. Both belonged to different fraternities. But, the two had vowed to live and die with each other. However, due to social constraints, the families of the two were not willing to marry them. When the two could not be united for family reasons, they decided to die together and they committed suicide.
The lovebirds had gone out of their house last night and hanged themselves from the same snare in a garden some distance from the village. The news of the bodies being found simultaneously in the garden created a sensation in the entire village. The case was reported to the local police. Police who reached the spot after receiving the information have taken down the bodies of the duo and seized their bodies and sent them for postmortem. Meanwhile, the boy's father has accused the girl side of murder.
