Kanpur: In Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur district, 21-year-old B.Tech student Satyam Awasthi has committed suicide by hanging himself, saddened by the blackmail of friends. Satyam was seen hanging by his maternal uncle's son in the room, after which there was a ruckus in the house. Police were immediately informed after this. Police reached the spot and took the corpse and sent it for postmortem. According to the information, Satyam has written four of his own friends responsible for suicide by writing a suicide note. Now the police are raiding in search of those friends.

This case is related to Panki police station area of Kanpur. Before the suicide, student Satyam Awasthi shared a note on his Facebook account, which has now gone viral. In that note, Satyam accused four friends Shubham Kushwaha, Akash Tiwari, Amita Agnihotri, and Nitin Mishra, including one of his female friends, of blackmailing him for money, which led to his hanging. Based on the note, the police has started investigating and is looking for these four people for questioning.

Unnao's Satyam lived away from home at his maternal grandfather's house in Kanpur and he was studying engineering. Satyam, studying in the third year, became so upset with the actions of his friends that he found it easier to embrace death. The police have now started investigating the case. Appropriate action will be taken soon.
