Villagers brutally beat young man on stealing  buffalo, death

Kaushambi:  A young man was brutally beaten by some villagers by tying up an electric barn alleging animal theft On Thursday morning in Kamasin village under Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh. Saini police, who arrived on the spot after receiving information, freed the young man from the clutches of the villagers and admitted him to the district hospital for treatment. However, the young man died at around 10 a.m. during treatment.

According to the Aadhaar card received from the young man, the young man has been identified as Lokesh Kumar Jat, a resident of Amarvasi-Shippur, Bhilwara janpad in Rajasthan. Police have informed the family members of the young man. The SP has registered a case against the deceased youth on the complaint of the villagers by taking action in the matter. It also called for further action after the family members of the young man arrived.

According to SP Pradeep Gupta, it was reported from Kamasin village police station Saini that a young man was brutally beaten by villagers in an attempt to steal buffalo. The young man was taken to hospital where he died. The deceased has been identified. His corpse has been sent for post mortem. A case has been filed on the basis of a complaint received from the villagers.
