Lucknow: Poverty-stricken person hanged himself in Kasganj district of Uttar Pradesh. His body was found hanging from a tree in the forest on Saturday morning. In the preliminary investigation, the police also feared suicide. It is being told that the family of the deceased had not eaten anything for five days. In such a situation, troubled by the poverty of the family, the person chose the path of suicide.

The deceased has been identified as Puran Singh, a resident of Maheshpur Road in Bilram area. Sources said that Puran Singh was unemployed for a long time and was not able to take care of his wife and children. Due to lack of ration in the house, the family had to beg. The deceased's 9-year-old daughter Gudiya said that her father had gone to Delhi in search of a job but did not get the job. After returning, he went out of the house after bathing. His body was later found hanging from a tree in the forest.

Gudiya said that his family has not eaten anything for the past five days. Gudiya told that, 'I am sick but have no money for medicine and food.' After this incident, Naib Tehsildar Kirti Chaudhary of Kasganj has met the victim's family. He has said that no one had informed him about the incident, but with the help of the supply officer, immediate family ration has been provided to the victim.
