Meerut: A case of gang rape of a married woman by calling her to an Eid party in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh has come to light. It is alleged that the old neighbour of the married woman called her to her house on the pretext of an Eid party and mixed the drug in a cold drink. The victim was gangraped by three man after she fainted. The accused also made a video of the gang rape. After a long time, the victim regained consciousness.
It is alleged that after she regained consciousness, the accused raped her again threatening to put the video on the internet. The victim informed her husband about it a few days later. The husband was shocked to hear this, after which ate poison die to shame and stress. The family admitted him to the district hospital where he is undergoing treatment. The case pertains to Lisari Gate police station area. The victim lived with her husband. The duo had recently changed the rented house. They were living elsewhere. The old neighbour of the married woman called her to his house for an Eid party. She reached the neighbour's house after understanding the Eid feast with her children. However, she was gangraped and a pornographic video was made. The victim did not tell anything to anyone.
When the husband asked why she is silence nowadays, she explained the whole thing. The victim along with her family reached the police station and lodged a complaint of gang rape following which an FIR was lodged. CO Arvind Chaurasia confirmed that the case has come to notice and said that the victim is undergoing medical examination and the accused will be arrested soon. One of the accused is a resident of the victim's locality.
