Gorakhpur: Despite all the slogans of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao and the government's claims of women's empowerment, there is no reduction in criminal incidents of women across the country. Its latest case has come from Uttar Pradesh. On Tuesday, a case of molesting a girl who came to see her mother admitted to BRD Medical College in Gorakhpur, UP, has come to light.

Gulariha police have started investigating the case by registering a case of molesting and threatening life and property on two people, including a junior doctor. According to the information received, a woman from Rustampur area is undergoing treatment in a medical college. The woman's daughter arrived to see him on Tuesday. In the complaint made to the police, the woman has been accused of molesting and threatening life and property by the junior doctor present in the ward and an employee accompanying him.

On the basis of the complaint, the Gulariha police has registered a case under sections 354, 504, 506 against two people including a junior doctor and is investigating the case. However, according to the medical college staff, the girl who visited the mother was making a video of the patients admitted in the ward, for which there was a dispute over the refusal and the woman falsely accused him. Police is currently investigating the case.
