Lucknow: In a case related to the murder of Ram Pravesh Paswan of Amarwa elderly man, a village under Patherwa police station area of Kushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh, the police have arrested three accused and sent them to jail. According to the police, Ram Pravesh was killed due to his son's love marriage with the girl of the relatives. Police said, Markandey Prasad, the son of deceased Ram Pravesh, had eloped three years ago with the daughter of his kin Pattidar Shrikant Paswan. He later got married and came to the village. The two lived together. Since then, the enmity between the two families has increased.  

Police said that both the families always used to fight amongst themselves over trivial matters. A month before the incident, the marriage of accused Shrikant Paswan's granddaughter was fixed. That marriage broke up. The reason was told that his daughter has done love marriage with Markandeya Prasad. Shrikant Paswan's family had become very angry due to the breakdown of the marriage and started believing Rampravesh Paswan and his son were responsible for this matter. To teach them a lesson, a plan was made to kill them.

According to the police, in this work, Yogendra Rai of the village made a plan and according to the fixed plan, when Ram Pravesh Paswan returned after performing Saraswati Puja, Sachidanand and his sons Sumit Kumar, Shrikant Paswan and Ramashish caught him outside the village and attacked him on his neck and face with a sharp weapon and killed him. After this, the bicycle of the deceased was thrown on the side of the road and the weapon was thrown in the sugarcane field located a short distance away from the incident and fled. When the police detained Yogendra Rai, Sachchidanand Paswan and Ramashish Prasad and interrogated them strictly, they confessed to the crime. On their identification, the weapon used for the murder has been recovered from the sugarcane field.
