Barabanki: A surprising incident took place on Friday in Barabanki district adjoining Uttar Pradesh. A young man going to the in-laws was brutally beaten by the people. Then sprinkle petrol on him and set him on fire. The young man was badly injured. He has been admitted to the hospital. Police have arrested two accused in this case. A murder case has been registered against them.
The SP of Barabanki informed about the incident and said that the young man named Sujit Kumar was going to his in-laws home in Raghopur village. He was leaving going there on Friday. In the meantime, the dogs chased him. So, he hides in an apartment to escape from the dogs. The locals then saw the young man hiding in the house and thought him as a thief.
According to the Superintendent of Police, people thrashed Sujit Kumar. Then sprinkle petrol on him and set fire. He was taken to hospital for treatment after the incident. He was referred to Lucknow from there. where his treatment is going on. Sujit's condition is now said to be stable. Police have arrested two accused. The arrest of other accused will also be made soon.
