Lucknow: In Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, the police have taken a big action in the beating case of 50-year-old Anuranjan Singh on suspicion of child theft. The police has arrested 16 people in this case. However, the family members of the arrested accused allege that the police has shown negligence in the whole case. The police did not properly interrogate the accused of child theft. Along with this, those people who were not involved in beating the person, were also arrested in the case.

This latest case of beating on the rumor of child theft is being reported from Khoda police station area of Ghaziabad. On Monday afternoon, some people accused and abused and beaten a person for stealing a child. On receiving the information about this incident, the local police reached the spot and brought the victim to the police station. According to the police, the person was beaten to death by making a false charge of theft.

After this, on the complaint of the victim of the fight, Anuranjan Singh, the police came into action and filed a case for spreading rumors and beating the person. In this case, the police has so far taken 16 people into custody. Those arrested include 14 young men and two middle-aged men.
