Ghaziabad: A big news is coming from Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh. The three accused in a gang that cheated unemployed people in the name of a call centre have been arrested by cyber cell and Nagar Kotwar police. The vicious police arrested accused were lured into getting jobs in different institutions and defrauding people.
The fake call centre gangs used to transfer money from the unemployed people to their accounts in the name of providing jobs in Indigo Airlines, Apollo Hospital and HDFC Bank. The numbers used to be closed thereafter. The gang has so far been able to fraud hundreds of millions of rupees.
Police have arrested three persons, including a woman, in the gang named Priyanka, Anup and Nikhil. According to the information given by the police, 20 mobiles, one laptop, 40 thousand rupees cash, 10 employment training letters and registers have been recovered from these berths. Further scrutiny is continuing in the matter.
