Shahjahanpur: In Uttar Pradesh's Shahjahanpur district, a police team which went to apprehend the accused of molestation has been attacked. A video of this is also going viral on social media, after which the police have arrested five accused while taking action. At present, the action is also being taken against other accused on the basis of viral video.
The incident is of the Mohalla pipeline colony of Kalan town police station in Shahjahanpur. It is alleged that Shakun, Vinod and Monu, who live in the locality in Jagrata, molested the minor girl, which the girl's family gave information to Kalan police station. After which the police team was sent to the spot with outpost in-charge. When the police reached their house to catch the molesters, they attacked the police team. Five accused have been arrested in this case.
SP Rural Sanjeev Kumar Vajpayee said that the police team was sent along with the in-charge on the information of molesting the minor girl. Action is being taken against the accused.
