Meerut: A vicious miscreant Rizwan alias Bunty has been injured by a police bullet in an encounter with police in-charge Kankarkheda, Jani, and his team, and the SOG team at Bhola Road in Thane Kankarkheda area of Uttar Pradesh's Meerut district. Bunty Naglatashi police station is located in Meerut.

This miscreant is a habitual criminal, on which about one and a half dozen prosecutions are registered. At present, this rogue was wanted in the cases of loot from police station Kharkhauda (Meerut), Thana Mawana (Meerut), and Thana Budhana (Muzaffarnagar), and a reward of 25 thousand rupees has been kept on it. A 32-bore country-made pistol, a large number of live cartridges, and a red-colored Splendor bike have been recovered from this scandal.

During interrogation by the police, the accused was told that after executing the incident, he used to stay in a mosque/ jamaat, because the police did not come there and thus he was saved from the police for a long time. In this endeavor, he also took refuge in the Romania Mosque located at the Summer Garden, Police Station Lisari Gate (Meerut). Today, that miscreant was going to go from there to meet his teammates and was looking to execute a robbery.
