Lucknow: In a shocking incident, a girl student was abducted and raped in Uttar Pradesh's Deoria district. A case under Sections 363, 376, and 3/4 of the POCSO Act has been registered and the accused Afroz Alam has been arrested and sent to jail. Since this incident, the student is very scared and is being counseled.
The victim has informed that she is a student of Class 12 in the inter-college of the village. She was coming home from college on January 2. On the way, a young man in a car with the help of his accomplices kidnapped her and took her to an isolated place, and committed the crime. Later in the evening, they left her outside the village in an unconscious state and fled. During this time, the girl's family was searching for her around the village. A woman from the village saw her unconscious and informed her family members. The girl was immediately admitted to a local hospital.
The victim narrated the incident to her father and lodged a complaint against the accused. The victim was medically examined and the accused was arrested by the police.
