Lucknow: The cyber cell of uttar pradesh police has achieved great success. Lucknow Cyber Cell has arrested Pramod Mandal, one of the country's largest cyber thugs. Pramod was wanted in 10 states of the country including Uttar Pradesh. Lucknow Cyber Cell has also arrested Rajesh Karan and Manoj along with Pramod Mandal.
Pramod Mandal has more than 3 dozen cases registered in several states including Jharkhand, Bihar, Delhi, Punjab. Last year, he had cleaned his hand on Rs 53 lakh from the account of a retired clerk from the Secretariat. Pramod Mandal, a resident of Dumka in Jharkhand, had come to meet his father and uncle lodged in Lucknow jail. The police had been looking for him for a long time. The police search ended and he was arrested from Gosaiganj area. Police have arrested five cyber criminals including Pramod.
Pramod Mandal himself used to cheat others, his companions also told others about the work. Pramod Mandal in Dumka used to blow money from people's bank accounts as well as train other cyber criminals. Not only that, Pramod Mandal had even hired accountants in Delhi for transactions worth crores of rupees earned by cheating. Lucknow Cyber Cell has also arrested a Delhi accountant.
