Lucknow: A shocking case of love jihad and religious conversion has come to light from Bahraich in Uttar Pradesh. Mehmood Khan, pretending to be Raunak Chaurasia, ensnared a Hindu girl in his trap of love. After this, he physically abused the girl for two consecutive years and took her pornographic video on his mobile.
The victim protested after knowing the reality of Mehmood Khan, a resident of Risia Gudni Basai, Bahraich. After that Mahmood started threatening the victim to make the video viral and forcibly converted her and married her. Mahmood's atrocities did not subside even after the victim became a Muslim and married. He used to beat the victim every day. When the victim got fed up with the harassment of the accused Mehmood, she went to the Alambagh police station and lodged a complaint. Police have arrested Mehmood while registering a case. According to the police, the accused Mahmood Khan has been living in Manak Nagar for the past several years and works in a private company.
At the same time, according to the victim, the accused Mehmood Khan had trapped her in his trap by calling himself a Hindu. He told his name as Raunak Chaurasia and then established physical relations with the victim. According to the victim, Mehmood had also cut her hair and thrown her out of the house after beating her. Along with this, Mahmood had threatened her that, if she complained to the police, she would kill her. Inspector in-charge of Alambagh Shivshankar Mahadevan has informed that 'the victim girl had a dispute with Mehmood many times before.' A panchayat has also been held regarding this matter. Both had married and were living together for two years. On the complaint of the girl, a case has been registered and the accused has been arrested and is being interrogated.
