Mathura: In Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, a minor has been raped and murdered. The incident is of Dehrua village under Yamunapar police station area. According to relatives, the girl went to the store on Monday evening to buy something. When she did not return for long, the family started looking for her. When the girl was not found, the relatives complained to the police.
The blood-stained body of the girl was recovered in the field near the village on Tuesday morning. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and sent the body of the girl for postmortem. During this, the angry villagers had an argument with the police. The villagers told the police that they had last seen the girl with her maternal uncle's friend. When the police reached his house in search of the maternal uncle, he escaped.
SSP Dr Gaurav Grover has said that the information about the girl's disappearance was given to the police on Monday evening. Her corpse has been recovered in the field on Tuesday morning. The police is investigating deeply on all aspects. The SSP said that a youth has been named in the complaint by the girl's family members. Search for him is going on.
