Lucknow: Maulana Kaleem Siddiqui, who was arrested by the ATS for running an illegal conversion racket in Uttar Pradesh, seems to be facing difficulties. Uttar Pradesh Police has registered a fresh case against the accused Maulana on the complaint of Amit Prajapati, a resident of Charthawal in Muzaffarnagar district. Amit has accused six persons, including Maulana, of forcibly feeding him beef and converting him. The victim alleged that he has also lured with Rs 4 lakh. Police has registered a case under the Conversion Act and started an investigation.

Prajapati in a complaint to the police has revealed that he met a man named Haji Salim in a furniture showroom in 2014. Salim then took him to Phoolat Madarsa in May 2014. Prajapati says that Maulana Kalim Siddiqui in the Madrasa asked him to recite the Kalma and accept Islam. He lured him with Rs 4 lakh in cash and a girl of his choice to get him converted. After conversion, he was named Abdullah. According to Prajapati, he was later taken to the Jamaat in Maharashtra, where he stayed for 40 days. He was sent to Deoband Madarsa after being trained in Kalama and Namaz at Jamaat. In Deoband, he was taught Urdu and Arabic. He was later tasked with converting other people as well. Not only that, Amit Prajapati was given Rs 4 lakh, which made him buy a plot in Charthawal.

In a complaint to the police, the victim said that Haji Salim, Dilshad, Zahid Mulla, Naushad Chhota, Yemen and Israr Pradhan had come to meet him on October 25, 2021, this year. They also brought beef with them in tiffin. Amit has alleged that the accused threatened to kill him by assaulting him when he refused to eat beef. According to the victim, the accused, including Siddiqui, forced him to speak provocatively against other religions and also made a video of him. The victim claimed that the video is still available on Siddiqui's YouTube channel Alkalam.
