Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) chief and former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is not shying away from conspiring against the democratic system even after being badly defeated in panchayat elections. Intimidating elected members and misusing power through inducement seduction is a sign of ugly intentions.

Former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav issued a statement on Wednesday saying, "BJP will have to pay a heavy price in the 2022 assembly elections. The BJP has never respected democracy. The evils of the BJP government are weighing heavily on the people of UP. The BJP is threatening the elected people in the UP Panchayat. They are playing with the lives of the people who create opportunities for disaster through the administration.'' Now the corona infection is spreading rapidly even in the rural areas of the state. The health infrastructure in villages is much weaker than in cities.

Akhilesh Yadav further said that even after so much time, hospitals are dying due to a shortage of oxygen, beds, treatment, and vaccines. Black marketing is not stopping even after a long so-called army of officers. In fact, under the BJP government, every section of the society is suffering and tortured.
