Lucknow: A case of triple talaq has been reported from the Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh. The victim, identified as Rizwana, has alleged that her husband used to burn her with cigarettes and beat her up. A few days ago, when her husband gave her triple talaq, her in-laws also evicted her from the house. Now, the woman has lodged a complaint in this regard at the police station.

Rizwana of Mohalla Patti Harnam Singh of the city has said that she was married to Anas, a resident of village Vat under the Simbhawali police station area. At the time of the marriage, her family members gave dowry according to the status. But the in-laws were not satisfied. They again started asking for Rs 10 lakh and a big car. If the demand was not satisfied, she would be beaten up and many times her body and various organs were also burned with a cigarette. Many times her brother-in-law also used to do obscene things with her.

When her family came to know about these atrocities with Rizwana, they explained to the in-laws, but still, no one stopped torturing Rizwana. One day she returned home. A few days later, her husband gave her triple talaq on her mobile and the in-laws also broke up. After she did police complain about the case, CO Syana Alka Singh said that they have named the accused husband Anas, father-in-law Aas Mohammed, and Monis, Danish, Ayesha, Asma in the FIR on the basis of the complaint. They will be arrested soon.
