Uttarakhand Budget: Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, says, 'Government will revise circle rate of land'

Bharadisain: The government is going to revise the rate of land increasing every day. In response to the motion for the adjournment of the Congress in the House on Saturday, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Madan Kaushik has announced this. Kaushik said that this work will be done within 15 days. As of now, the government has accepted that the highest circle rate in Pauri has increased by about 529 percent. On Saturday, March 7, 2020, as soon as the proceedings of the House commenced, Congress came up with an adjournment motion on the issue of Circle Rate. The Speaker accepted this proposal under Rule 58. Leader of Opposition Indira Hridayesh said that the government has increased the circle rate of land from 300 to 600 percent in many places in the state. Circle rates have been higher than market rates in many places.

In response, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Madan Kaushik said that it is true that in some places the circle rates have been very high. There were many flaws in the circle rate.
