Uttarakhand: The destruction of the glacier in Chamoli in Uttarakhand has created havoc. Actually, the glacier has broken down near Reni village in the district. This time the administration team has left for the spot. According to reports, many villagers' houses have been damaged in this incident. In fact, the glacier is flowing along the banks of the Dholi River. Sage Ganga, the power project here, has suffered heavy losses due to the breaking of the glacier. The rescue operation is still going on to find about 40 to 50 laborers working on this project. Indeed, more than 100 ITBP jawans have reached for relief and rescue and an alert has been issued in the lower areas.

The incident is being reported between eight and nine o'clock in the morning. The NDRF team has left for the scene. Recently SDM of Joshimath, Kumkum Joshi says, 'NTPC and Rishi Ganga's entire project in Tapovan has been destroyed. The entire river has turned into debris and debris is flowing slowly.' The information has been given to the administration of Chamoli, Devprayag, and all the villages along the river. Some people working there have received injuries. However, there is absolutely no information about how many people have flown or how many have been harmed.

Simultaneously Kumkum Joshi has also said that 'ITBP, SDRM, and Army people have been deployed there.' According to reports, the SDM of Joshimath is going to the upstream area where the incident of glacier breakdown has occurred.
