Dehradun: Gyan Singh Negi, a responsible state general secretary of the country's state Uttarakhand government and former STATE general secretary of bjp, passed away at Ashutoshnagar Rishikesh at 5 am today. The BJP also had several key positions ranging from the state general secretary, the president of the disciplinary committee. His funeral will be held in Rishikesh today.

He wrote on his social media account that BJP was deeply saddened to hear of the demise of senior Uttarakhand leader and Minister of State for Our Government Gyan Singh Negi. On the other hand, the COVID-19 infection in the state is getting uncontrollable. On Monday, 807 newly infected patients were found in the state within 24 hours. The number of patients has now crossed 25,000.  There are 7965 active patients. According to a bulletin issued by the health department, 9262 samples were reported negative in 24 hours, while Dehradun district received the highest number of 241 corona patients. At the same time, corona cases in the state are increasing day by day, so it is necessary that we keep our security.
